Coconut Cacao Rice Puffs

Enjoyable and sugar-free! Two versions to choose from.

No, I am not really making all this from scratch, but I

am sprucing up a plain one, that's tastier and healthier.

Recipe #1:

6 cups organic rice puffs - Nature's Path

6 tbsp. organic cacao powder

1/ 2 cup maple syrup

1/2 organic extra virgin coconut oil - melted

Preheat oven to 225 degrees.

Prepare two large sheet pans with parchment paper

In large mixing bowl add cacao powder, maple syrup, and coconut oil.

Mix well. Add in rice puffs. Stir this together well, coating all the puffs.

Pour onto the sheet pans and bake for 30 minutes.

Allow to cool. Place in canisters. Enjoy!

Tips: Extras that you can add: cinnamon, freshly grated/ground nutmeg,

dash of vanilla extract, or chopped pecans, almonds, or walnuts.

You can also use the organic Kamut cereal by Nature's Path.

Recipe #2:

6 cups organic rice puffs - Nature's Path

1/2 cvp organic cacao powder

1 1/2 cups organic coconut sugar

1 cup organic extra virgin coconut oil - melted

Same procedure as first recipe.
